Background

John co-founded Fox Hill Wealth Management in 2022 with his daughter, Jennifer Tarantino. Establishing a daughter-father advisory practice that is meant to last for generations to come was important to John because he wants to provide clients with the added comfort of truly having an advisor for life.

Previously, John a co-founder and advisor with The Tarantino Group at Morgan Stanley alongside Jennifer. The Tarantino Group was a team of financial professionals with complementary skills and perspectives. Based in New Jersey, The Tarantino Group specialized in bringing Investment planning to generations of families based across the United States. John began his career in 1980 at Merrill Lynch where he worked as wealth advisor for over 30 years before joining Morgan Stanley in 2012, as a Senior Vice President. John is Series 7 & 63 registered* and holds Life & Health Insurance licenses.

Personal

In his free time, John enjoys giving back to the community and is an active volunteer at his local church and a member of Knights of Columbus. John is also an avid photographer and reader, but watching sports and spending quality time with his family are also passions. John is a father of 4 and grandfather of 2, residing in Somerset, NJ with his wife, Linda, of over fifty years.

John graduated from Saint Francis College in Brooklyn in 1970. He was also awarded a Masters of Science degree from Wagner College in 1973 and a certificate of advanced study from Saint John University. He has also completed some doctoral studies at NYU.

Understanding a client’s story is a hallmark of John’s approach to investment advising. His family’s own story was created at the Fox Hill residence he purchased in the early 1980s for his young family. The name of the practice he founded with his daughter in 2022, Fox Hill Wealth Management, was inspired by the memories created in this home across multiple generations.
